Working for better mental health and wellbeing in the community |
|
We are a learning organisation that believes strongly that the service users whom we support have the capacity, strength and potential to manage themselves and their mental health, given an appropriate level of support, advice and assistance. We also believe that service users have much to teach us and society and should not be seen merely as passive recipients of support and care. Our aim is to provide in all our services, an enabling environment and work ethic that encourages service users to identify their own individual goals and then to ensure that staff work alongside service users to support them in reaching those goals.
We have a strong commitment to partnership working that includes working with our Commissioners and funders to ensure that we are meeting and indeed, exceeding their expectations and ensuring that our services remain at all times strategically relevant, effective and value for money.
Our partnership working extends to other community providers, whether voluntary sector or statutory sector, to service users and to their carers and significant others. We will not succeed in our aims on our own, it is only through the process of partnership working and collaboration that we can deliver on what the service users who use our services demand and should expect.
