SERVICE OVERVIEW
Tulip
works with clients experiencing mental health needs ranging from emotional
distress to severe and enduring mental health problems. The vulnerable
groups served include women, refugees, Black and Minority Ethnic (BME)
groups and clients with a dual diagnosis.
We
work annually with approximately 550 service users across
the London Boroughs of Enfield, Haringey, Barking & Dagenham and Newham. Over 60% of these
clients are from BME backgrounds. Service provision includes assertive
outreach, registered care home, floating support and other community schemes.

HOW WE WORK
The
core of our work is done through the relationship and interaction between
our clients and staff. The purpose of all engagement is to meet the
clients’ needs. This is accomplished by deploying essential attitudes
and skills such as acceptance, objectivity, listening, resilience,
patience, goal setting and above all a deep capacity to care.
It
is through these encounters, care and support provided by our staff and
other professionals that our service users experience their own competencies,
thereby enhancing their capacity for self-reliance and self-management.
OUR STAFF
